Is HelperGo an agency?

We do not charge agency fees like a traditional agency would nor do we operate like them. We are instead a platform to help connect homeowners and helpers.

What should I do if I want to hire a babysitter or confinement nanny? How quick is the lead time?

You can download the HelperGo app on your mobile phone or use our web platform. You can get someone as quick as a day’s time.

Depending on your time and location, the matching might take longer than usual. We will usually contact you regarding any alternatives and flexibility to help the matching process. You will receive a notification once you have been matched.

Who are the helpers with HelperGo? What is the verification done?

Currently, all helpers with HelperGo are local independent partners using the platform to connect with homeowners like yourself. Only Singaporean citizens and Permanent Residents (PR) are allowed to freelance as helpers. It is illegal for others like foreign domestic workers to moonlight for a household other than the employer they have a contract with.

Every individual has been personally vetted by the Agentbong team.

Do I need to key in my full address?

Users can choose not to enter the full address, but we suggest that users at least input the street, building name, so as to make the matching process more accurate.

What do I write for the Job Title and Additional Requirements?

HelperGo understands that different employers have different requirements, it is recommended that employers can make good use of the Job Title and Additional Requirements. If the employer has other requirements or information the babysitter needs to know that is not covered by the app, the user can set their own additional requirements.

Do I have to enter my credit card details before booking?

Yes, you need to enter your credit card details before making a booking.

My helper canceled, what should I do?

You can either cancel the task or reopen the task for another helper. If the helper cancelled but you were charged, do inform us and we will investigate.

Is it possible to cancel an ad hoc session?

You can select the task record and select ‘cancel today’. Do note that cancellation charges apply for changes within 24 hours. Please read our Terms and Conditions for more details.

I need both chores and babysitting

Only some of our babysitters can do some chores. However, you will have to specify that you need chores to be done so we can match the most suitable person for you. As the supply is limited, we cannot guarantee such a helper is available.
